Eckert’s Home Grown Apples Ripening Schedule
Eckert's Golden Delicious Pie
- 6 to 7 cups Golden Delicious Apples, sliced
- 1 cup sugar
- 6 Tbs. whipping cream, optional
- 1 Tbs. flour
- 1 Tbs. butter or margarine, melted
- Dash of ground cinnamon or nutmeg
- 1 Tbs. milk
- 2 (9-inch) unbaked pie crusts
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Combine, apples, sugar, whipping cream, flour, butter, and cinnamon. Place 1 of the pie crusts in 9-inch pie plate. Fill with apple mixture. Cover with remaining crust; seat and flute edge. Prick top crust with fork several times to allow steam to escape. Brush crust with milk. Bake at 425 degrees F for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F; bake an additional 45 minutes.

- 6 Eckert's Honeycrisp Apples
- 1 Package of Eckert's Old Fashion Apple Crisp Mix
- Eckert's Frozen Custard
Peel and slice apples. Add Apple Crisp topping following the package directions. Serve warm with Eckert’s Frozen Custard. Yum!
