To the kitchen we come, on the tractor we go; Come and cook what we see and grow. Peaches and blackberries, tomatoes, and corn; you never know what you’ll find on the farm. Event will take place from 9:30 am – 10:45 am in the Country Store. $10.00/Child.

Bunko Night
An old-fashion game for all ages. Play Bunko at Eckert’s Country Restaurant on the second and fourth Monday of each month. $5 per person includes game, prizes, beverages, and snacks. Open to the public. Dine in the Country Restaurant prior to playing Bunko and play for FREE. No reservation required.

July 12
Adult Cooking Class – 5 Ingredient Fix
Jill Eckert Tantillo proves delicious dishes only need five ingredients or fewer to make cooking easier, faster and absolutely delicious. Event will take place from 6 pm – 7pm in the Country Store. $25.00/Person

Adult Wine Class – Blind Tasting Party
See, smell and taste five wines without reading the labels. Find out what you like without knowing the variety of grape or the growing region. ind out if your taste buds refer a $10 wine or a $40 wine! Our staff will offer tips on hosting you own blind-tasting party. Cheese & bread will be available. Event will take place from 6 pm – 7:30 pm in the Country Store. $25.00/person

Adult Cooking Class – Viva Salsa
Salsa is one of the most popular condiments in America. Learning how to preserve your own salsa is an easy and fun activity for you and your family. Throughout the year you’ll enjoy the satisfaction and memories of having preserved your own ready-to-eat salsa. Carol Schlitt of Safe & Savory Solutions, will demonstrate a variety of salsa’s during our “Viva Salsa” demonstration. Carol will show how to safely can a tomato-based salsa using a hot water bath canner. In addition, she will demonstrate a variety of fresh salsa’s such as cantaloupe salsa and sweet potato pecan salsa. Attendees will have the opportunity to taste sample the demonstrated salsa’s and will receive a salsa recipe book. Event will take place from 1 pm – 3 pm in the Country Store. $25.00/person.

July 18
Adult Wine Class – Not so Dry Wines
Taste and learn about sweet and semi-sweet wines made from grapes and other fruits. We’ll pair a complimentary bite of food with each wine so you can fully appreciate the complimentary flavors. This is the perfect class for the beginning wine drinker and or sweet wine lover. Event will take place from 6 pm – 7:30 pm in the Country Store. $15.00/person.

Adult Cooking Class – Summer Picnic – Chinese Style
Guest Instructor: Shirley Frost (owner of Adventures in Cuisine) When was the last time you went on a picnic? Shirley’s tantalizing recipes are guaranteed to make your next picnic unforgettable. She will prepare anise flavored barbecued beef, “six treasures” rice salad, stir-fried peppers and snow peas, and poached peaches in cinnamon ginger syrup. space is limited. Event will take place from 6 pm – 7:30 pm in the Country Store. $25.00/person.

Adult Cooking Class – Summer Fresh & Fast
Is your summer super busy? No worries! Join Angie Eckert for her favorite, speedy, summer recipes. Angie will share growing tips for the herbs and vegetables featured in this fresh-picked meal. You’ll go home with delicious recipes guaranteed to “Wow” your family without a lot of effort. Event will take place from 6 pm – 7:30 pm in the Country Store. $25.00/person.

Adult Cooking Class – Basics of Preserving Something Sweet & Savory
Join Lana Shepek as she teaches you how to make a homemade treasure from your pantry – personal yet practical, this class is perfect for holiday gift giving. Gain confidence with a sense of satisfaction and pride learning to make Mixed Vegetable Pickles, Corn Relish, Peach Butter and Peach Chutney. All recipes are for a hot water canner. Event will take place from 1 pm – 3:30 pm in the Country Store. $25.00/person.

July 26
Adult Wine Class – Summer Beer & Cheese Pairings
Join us for a beer tasting featuring regional summer brews and summer food pairings. We’ll taste several of the local seasonal brews and discuss the differences. Kick back and enjoy the flavors of summer with us! Event will take place from 6 pm – 7:30 pm in the Country Store.
