Orchard Loop Bike Path

Explore the great outdoors and enjoy fun, family-friendly activities on the farm when you check out our new bike path at Eckert’s Farm in Belleville.

Discover a new way to enjoy Eckert’s Family Farm in Belleville when you explore our recently constructed bike path. This scenic trail bisects our Belleville Farm and provides an easy connection to the existing Metro Bike Link Trail. If you’re looking for a fun outdoor activity that the whole family can enjoy, then come by with your bikes and hop on the path to start exploring the beautiful natural surroundings near our farm and orchard.

Bike Trail Development

Currently, Phase 1 of the trail stretches for approximately 3 miles. This first length of the path leads to the Metro Bike Link Trail, which currently runs from Shiloh/Scott MetroLink Station to Memorial Hospital MetroLink Station in Belleville. This connects the bike trail to the Greater St. Louis light rail system, allowing people from all over the area to visit our farm and explore the natural surroundings without having to arrive by car.

Phase 2 will add another mile or so of trail, including a bridge that will go over Green Mount Road. Once Phase 2 is completed in the fall of 2019, it will connect Phase 1 with the Orchards Subdivision, providing hundreds of local residents with an easy access point for the scenic trails and our Belleville Farm.
