SCOUT PROGRAMS AT ECKERT’S
Enjoy a fun, educational experience with your Boy Scout or Girl Scout troop by signing up for one of our popular scout programs at Eckert’s Farm in Belleville. These kids’ cooking classes present an opportunity for scouts to roll up their sleeves to experience hands-on cooking fun. After whipping up their own meals and snacks, scouts receive an Eckert’s Cooking Patch as a testament to their hard work and newly acquired skills. Learn more about our scout cooking classes with kids to find the right fit for your troop.
Teaching Kids to Cook
Learning how to make healthy, delicious meals is an important skill. When kids take part in our Boy Scout or Girl Scout events at Eckert’s Farm, they see the benefits of making meals from scratch and gain a boost of confidence in the kitchen. Troop leaders can choose from our Snack Attack Cooking Class for Scouts and our Making Simple Meals Cooking Class for Scouts. Both of these cooking classes include a customizable menu that allows you to pick and choose which dishes your troop will make.
Events take place in our spacious Cooking Classroom, and our trained culinary staff lead the kids through each step as they whip up a variety of meals and snacks. It’s a fun and engaging way to get kids excited about cooking, especially since they get to savor their own creations.
